London calling

Today is another typical autumn day with clouds and light rain, which reminds me very much of London weather. So I decided to share with you the beautiful home of a British stylist, decorated with very carefully selected vintage items from flea markets, as well as with several other modern pieces. I think this is another dream home for me! I like very much the use of purple color in the curtains and the well known Thonet chairs used in so many coffee shops. I also find great the use of blue color on the stairs which is exactly the same tone of blue with the sofa. Instead of having a usual coffee table, the owner has replaced it by a camp bench found in an antique market. She has also kept the first original tiles of the hallway which are simply wonderful. In the house's terrace she has created a small oasis and I find very clever the idea of having a tree stump as a side table. Enjoy the photos and find some similar pieces so that you can also create the look.

Fabulous Christmas Getaways

If you want to spend your free Christmas time relaxing and reconnecting with nature, I have for you two wonderful destinations in French Alpes and Pavliani village at Central Greece. Both retreats are ideal for spending quality time with friends and family and have refreshing walks in the woods. So take a look and enjoy.

Cottage in Pavliani

This idyllic retreat can host up to 16 people and is located
outside the picturesque traditional village of Pavliani. The village itself, which marks the entrance to Oiti National Park, is divided into two parts, Ano (upper) and Kato (lower), separated by a distance of 2 km.The cosy and casual decoration of this cottage is exactly what makes suitable for a carefree Christmas holiday. A greenhouse and vegetable plot provide organically grown tomatoes, potatoes, corn, etc., while dozens of fruit trees offer quinces, apples, plums, mirabelles and cherries. Apart from the owner himself, who spends most of his time on the farm, there is also a friendly couple ready to provide any assistance around the clock.

Colorful living in London

Today I have for you some white and red eye candy from London. This bright and colorful apartment located in Ravenscourt, London, has definetely a unique and very cheerful personality created by the bold combination of lots of white with touches of red. The poster of Pepsi logo and the Love sign, are used instead of common paintings, creating an original wall decor. The large white painted mirrors in the living room and bedroom make the rooms look more spacious and airy. The red stairs as well as the red doors are also very playful and authentic. I wonder how this unique home will look like during Christmas time with more red decoration items. What do you think? Would you dare have so many red pieces in your home as well. Looking forward to reading your comments below.

Moroccan Inspiration

Hello friends! I hope you had a great weekend! As Christmas is coming I thought to share with you an idea for holidays, if you haven't planned anything yet. It may not be the typical Christmas experience with snow and decorated christmas trees, but I think you'll have a great time there. I'm talking about Moroccan houses for rent in the small town of Taroudant at the foothills of Mountain Atlas.
At this small town a group of French expats after quitting their jobs , created a haven consisting of some beautiful homes and guest houses, all decorated with traditional and authentic Moroccan style. Take a look and get inspired.

Living big in small apartments

I welcome the weekend with a very warm and cosy apartment in neutral tones, located in Stockholm. Although it is rather small and divided in 2 floors, the owners have managed to make it look spacious and luxurious with some very clever and stylish details, such as the chandelier over the humble dining table in the kitchen and the wooden vertical beams. Isn't it adorable?
